Obituary of Patricia Lynn Piper

Patricia Lynn Piper, 70 of Coralville died Thursday, January 10, 2013, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City. Memorial services will be held at 10:30 am Tuesday, January 15, 2013, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Oxford with burial to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Oxford. Visitation will be from 3 to 7pm Monday at Gay & Ciha Funeral Service in Iowa City where a parish vigil service will be held at 7pm. Patricia Lynn Kutcher was born February 12, 1942 in Iowa City the daughter of Roy John and Mary Ann (Bowman) Kutcher. For over 37 years Pat worked at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, retiring in 2007. She was a member of the National Catholic Society of Foresters for over 50 years. Her family includes her son, Christopher 'Bubba" Piper (Mary Jo) of Coralville; and her siblings, R. John Kutcher (Judy) of Eldridge, IA; Juanita Schulte of Norway, IA; Helen Schulte (Mick) of Oxford, and Kathy Tandy (Gomer) of Oxford. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Theresa Lynn Schnoebelen; and her brother, Richard Kutcher.
