Condolences
Jeff & Mick,
I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your Mother. What fun parents you had - they were always interested in whatever we were doing and glad to see the Coralville gang! I have so many wonderful memories - I am truly sorry that I cannot be there today! You are in our thoughts and prayers!!!
Dear Jeff and Mick, Jim and I are so sorry to have missed Shirley's funeral. We have the flu and thought best if we stayed away. So sorry about your loss. Our memories of Shirley and Floyd have a special place in our memory book. We had lots of great times together. Our best to you both. Jim and Carralee
Dear Jeff, Mick and family,
I am so sorry to hear of Shirley's passing. I worked with her in the Cardiology Clinic for years and she made coming to work "fun". She always had a smile and a story. I always enjoyed running in to her after her retirement. I will miss seeing her.
To Jeff, Mick and the rest of the McGrew family. I am so sorry for your loss of Shirley. She was always such a dear lady and whenever I ran into her she always had a smile and a memory for me. Her and Floyd always welcomed "the gang" into their home in the high school years and even 20 years later when I retired from the Air Force, I was always greeted with those same smiles when I would track them down to buy one of their Christmas Trees. It HAD to be from them. I will never forget them. :-) Please know that you all are in my thoughts and prayers and that both Shirley and Floyd have left a very special part of themselves in each and every one of you that will be there forever.
We are so sorry to hear about the death of your mother. Our thoughts and prayers are with the McGrew family!
Jeff, so sorry to hear about your mom. Please know that we are thinking of you during this difficult time. Take care of yourself. Cheryl and John Hoard
SHIRLEY WAS A GEM SHE NEVER HAD A BAD THING TO SAY ABOUT ANY ONE SHE
L WAYS WAS SMILING A TRUE FRIEND TO ALL
Shirley and I were the "twin cousins" of the Murschel families. The story is:Shirley was born 2-1/2 hrs before me and we celebrated many birthdays together. We grew up in Webster and I have many memories of all the cousins.
We lived next door to each other for awhile and were confirmed together.
I will always treasure our last conversation (phone) just before Christmas this year when we agreed that we were still "special" cousins.YA
To the McGrew Family,
Very sorry for your loss, wanted to let you know that Shirley always had a smile on her face, I have never seen anything different and she will always be in my thoughts and prayers. Hoping that the ones that have past before us are together now, joking, and smiling as usual.
