My thoughts and prayers go out to Kathy, Margie, Dan, Sally, Jerry, and their families. I have so many wonderful memories of spending time at the Schrock home growing up. One of my favorites is eating peanut butter sandwiches and hostess cupcakes for lunch. And it was always a special treat when "Mrs. Schrock" would take us to McDonalds. Dottie always loved to have the kids at her house and it's a good thing because we were there A LOT! You always wanted to be on good behavior because you knew that's what Mrs. Schrock expected and you didn't want to disappoint her. Dottie always saw the glass as half full. I once borrowed all of the heads off of their Barbie dolls and used them for an art project. Unfortunately the art instructor threw away my project along with all of the Barbie heads. To my knowledge (Kathy may say differently) she never got mad me. Dottie was a fabulous cook and I still use her chili recipe. She was my second mom growing up. My childhood years would not have been the same without Dottie and Chris. They provided me with a lifetime full of wonderful memories. Hugs to you all! I will be thinking about you tomorrow, wishing I could be there with you.
