Condolences
Thanks for always being there for me Dad, miss you lots Love your daughter Christine
Christine, Eddit and Gary, I am sorry for the loss of your father. I did not know Gary very well as we were all children, but I have very fond memories of you and your father and growing up together in the house next door. May god be wth you and your family always
Christie and family,
I was so saddened to see Don had passed away. I knew him from my days of working at Breese's in Coralville 33 years ago. He was one of the truly good guys who always had a smile and spent a few minutes just shooting the breeze when he would come in. Don was a the real deal, what you saw is what you got. He left many lasting impressions on me and I never forgot him. I am glad to have known him even for just a short time.
Pat,Christy,Ed,Gary and families,
So sorry to hear of Don's passing. We have many happy memories of the late 60's when we lived next to them and the times we have visited since then. God bless you in your time of sorrow.
I just met Don this year. He was taking chemo and was obviously not feeling the greatest but he had a smile that could light a candle. He had not lost his sense of humor and hospitality. I wish I could have met him sooner. I'am sure I could have learned a lot from him. He obviously loved his family greatly and still had the twinkle in his eye for his Pat. I wish the family the best and pray for Pat's continued good progress.
Our sympathy goes out to Aunt Pat and the Pirkl Clan, may he rest in peace!
Sending sweet thoughts to all in Don's family. I met him a few times through his daughter Christine, and have fond memories. May the Lord Hold You In the Palm of His Hand during this bittersweet time.
All our love,
Tina Daggett & Andrew Staubly
