What a memorable day it was when Mel and I first met Ed and Kay Thomas when they visited our beautiful next door neighbor, Barbara Thomas Hakes. We forever looked forward to seeing Ed and Kay when they visited Laramie, WY. They were people you met and immediately felt as if you had known them all your life. I know both of them are missed by family and friends. God Bless.

"Grandpa Ed" was such a delightful man. He was very special to me and I will cherish the memories I have of our long conversations about his fascinating life and the experiences and people he valued most.

I remember Ed and Family from the SW IC neighborhood. school buses, schools, and 4-H. Ed was alway spoken of highly by the Dane family; going all the way back to my grandfather, HJ Dane. Mention Ed Thomas to one of the "Danes" and you will get a smile.

Grandpa will be missed greatly. I am glad he is resting easy now.
