I worked for 14 years at the Uof I hospital in the dietary department. Glendora was one to help out new emplayees and make them feel welcomed. She was one that I missed when I had to go out on disablity. Glendora was able to learn any new process. My sympathy to the family. Anna McAtee

Glendora's Family & Friends

I have known Glendora from the 50's through Bethany Church. She has always been a piller (also a charter member) of the church and worked in many aspects of the Church's growth over the years. And was still active

right up till her passing. We will miss her, and will keep all of her family in our prayers.

When the Sees family came to Iowa City in 1957, Glendora was there at Bethany to welcome us and be our friend. I was too old for Pioneer Girls, but I'm sure some of my sisters remember her guidance through their adolescence. I remember her as a hard working lady to support her family and she always had a smile.

Our prayers are with her family as they spend this time together remembering a Godly woman.

The old Bethany group is being reunited in Glory! She will be busy worshipping our Lord, but I hope she says hello to Ott & Millie Sees.

Glendora's friendship was a vauable learning tool initself.

I am greatful for her concerns always being able to tell me

how she felt about things.

I am one of the young girls that Glendora's faith and guidance touched when she was a leader for Pioneer Girls at Bethany Baptist Church in the 1960's. She was a good and faithful servant who loved the Lord. My thoughts and prayers are with your family. May the love of friends give you comfort. May the love of God give you peace. I am counting on Heaven being more glorious than I can imagine.

Glen was my aunt and I remember her babysitting me when I was little. She chased me around the outside of our house in Iowa City and always called me a little stinker because I was always looking for trouble. I appreciate her prayers for me all through my life. She lived a God honoring life and will be missed.

Glendora was a very spirited person. Always a friendly smile or hand when I(Kathy) attended church. We will miss her greatly. Deepest sympathies to her whole family.

Sherri and Debbie, Sometimes, no matter how much faith we have, we lose people. But you never forget them. And sometimes, it's those memories that give us the strength to go on. Glendora had a pure and beautiful heart and was loved for her kindness and warmth. She will be missed for her wise words, spirit, and her wit. It was through you that I got to know, love and respect her. She is with you both always.

I never told you how much you really ment to me or that you , where ever you were was the only place in my whole life I felt safe. I would of lost my mind when I was younger if it had not been for you. and Pastor Anderson.. Both Tim and I would have been lost forever...
