Dear Stacey I was so sad to hear of your parents. I am sure you remember Scott and Bill Harris before you would me. I have a lot of great memories from DeWitt with your whole family.. I wish we had not lost contact with each other.
I wish you all the best and Blessing God has in store for you as He bring you through this. Would love to hear from you Joann
Stacy and Dan, Please accept my deepest sympathy. I am sorry I could not make it to the memorial service. I remember when we were all together for Christmas. loved those times. Dave and Dan will always be Brothers to me. I hope you find peace in your hearts. Dave and Phyllis rest in Peace.
STACY AND DANNY,PLEASE ACCEPT MY DEEPEST SYMPATHY. I WILL NEVER FORGET DAVE OR PHYLLIS, IN SOME WAYS I WAS THE REASON THOSE TWO MET. DAVE AND I WERE ALWAYS TOGETHER AND HAD THE BEST OF TIMES. PLEASE KNOW THAT I HAVE A HEAVY HEART. THEY WERE GREAT PEOPLE AND WILL BE MISSED
(I guess I put my memory in the wrong place) I met Dave when we were 15 and we have been good friends through 45 years my dad moved us around a lot so to make friends was hard. I am glad I found a friend in Dave There were times we were like brothers we would go fishing all night down on the levee in davenport or trout fishing.we loved to ride our bikes and go to motorcycle rallys in Conesville,Ia. We did that twice a year until Daves health started going bad it was to difficult for him to breath with all the dust I already miss those day and now I'll miss my oldest and dearest friend. But I know he is in a better place He is riding his harley in the sky now so long friend
Stacy and family, I was sad to here about Dave and Phyllis. I worked a lot of hours with Dave and always knew that we had each other's back when things weren't going so well with a call. Phyllis was a quiet person but she always had a kind word to say when we spoke. Our thoughts are with you all and may Dave and Phyllis rest in peace!
This is a really great tribute. It's obvious that Dave and Phyllis loved each other deeply. Now they are together and all their pain and uncertainty is gone. Stacy and Dan, remember the good times and hold those memories close to your hearts, they will help you through the hard times. We are thinking about you and hoping you are doing well in this difficult time.
Stacy and Family, my sincerest condolences to you and the famiy! I lived across street from your folks and little David for years; your dad was a great friend to my folks! I played with little David all the time! Please know your entire family is in our prayers!!
Dear Stacy, I was so sad to hear of the passing of your Mom and Dad. It's been so long since you moved from DeWitt and we lost track of each other. I have lots of memories of your parents and our times together. My heart felt sympathy goes out to you.
My memories of Dave and Phyllis are that as outgoing, joking around and boisterious as Dave was, Phyllis was just the opposite as she was such an introvert, quiet and sweet. She would just smile sweetly while Dave hammed it up and goofed around to make us all laugh. He did that very well. I used to askl her how the two of them got together and she said she couldn't get a word in edgewise to say no even if she had wanted to! Now THAT was funny and even Dave howled at that one. I knew him as a DeWitt police officer. After they left DeWitt I lost track of them and I'm so sorry to hear of his being so ill. My sympathy to you and yours.
Stacy and Danny, My deepest condolences. Growing up with Dave was always a pleasure through good times and bad, and they were both plentiful. We'll all feel a loss that will never be forgotten. Even though the rough times Dave was always a close friend and will be greatly missed. Our Love Kenneth & Susan Quinn and Family
My deepest condolences to their family and friends. I didnt know them but I think its a beautiful thing that they passed away together. That's true and ever lasting love. It must have been very peaceful for them going with their soul mate instead of alone.
I'm so sorry to hear of your deep loss. I remember your mom and dad from way back and we always enjoyed good conversations and laughs! I will pray that you feel the comforting arms of our Lord and you get strength from Him.
I would like to express my condolences to the family . I spent a good number of years with Dave on the DeWITT police Department he was always looking for ways to better the community of DeWITT .
Condolences to Stacy & the Craft family. I've known Dave & Phyllis since 1977,served with Dave with the DeWitt Police Department and watched Stacy & David Shane grow up. We kind of lost contact with each other after they moved from DeWitt but still have many pleasant memories from that time! May God bless them both !
So sorry to hear of David's passing and his wife too. Didn't know he was ill, but he is at peace now. My sympathy to Danny and of the family!
Dave was a good family man always there when ever he was needed.Phyllis was right by his side every step of the way.Dave favorite thing to do was hunt in the fall. I remember deer head were their decorations on the walls of the living room. The trophy's of the sport he loved so much. Phyllis loved her husband so much she let him have them on the walls. Dave also loved Harley-Davidson's and enjoyed spending time with his brother Dan my husband because they were both motorcycle enthusiasts. Dave and Dan and their life long friends would go to bike rallies together and enjoy each others company. Dave and Phyll will be missed very much and are now with their son in a much better place. Much Love Cindy,
There are too many memories to chose from, all so precious and dear.
To Danny, so long since I last saw you, I hope the years in between
were much better ones for you and that you found happiness. I am so sorry for your loss. To Dave and Phyllis' daughter and family, please know that you all are held in my heart even though we've never met. I hope you can find peace in all of this, as they are now in eternal peace. To Phyllis, you really were the best and to Dave, the "carnival" is at it's end and you came and you conquered so much now rest dear friend, rest, you deserve it!!!
