I'm so sorry to hear of your mothers passing. She and your dad were great neighbors. I hope you find peace in knowing she is with her other loved ones and that one day you will all be together again.
I was sorry to read that your mom had passed away. She sounded like an amazing women and it was so neat to see how much you and her look a like. Thankfully though she is now in God's loving arms. I will pray that God will help to comfort you and your family during this time.
I remember so many things about Aunt June. I remember wondering how she could keep her balance with such tiny, tiny feet.(They were very small.) I remember the sense of accomplishment I felt when I grew tall enough to look her eyeball to eyeball.( I was in the 4th grade.LOL ( She was short.) I remember her kindness and always willing to help at family gatherings.(Ready to do the dishes right after dinner while my cousins and I tried to sneak out of the house and head for the timber. She always caught us!!) I remember how much she enjoyed playing canasta on card night.(Every Saturday night.) I remember her spunkiness with Uncle Oley and other family members. (She could be feisty for a little lady.) I remember her sadness when she lost her only son in a car wreck at such a young age.( I love you Butch.) (This pain I have suffered also with the loss of my only son in a car wreck as well.) I could go on and on but I think the one thing that I will remember the most is her laugh. She always struck me as being fun. Her laughter could fill any room. I am sorry that I moved so far away from family. I am sorry that I got too busy to stay in touch with family. I am sorry that I let distance and time get between us. I am sorry I was too busy to be a better niece. I will make it up to you Aunt June on the "other side". Just know that I always loved you in my heart and these memories I have of you will follow with me through the rest of my life. I am sooooo happy that you have been reunited with your son, husband and so many other loved ones who have gone home before you. I can't wait to have the real "family reunion" one day. God Bless Linda and Patty who tenderly loved and cared for you through all your trials and sufferings. T

Linda and Patty, I remember what a kind, fun person your Mother was. Many a time we had buckets of frogs and turtles and she never made us put them back just help us get them home! I remember the kindness she showed to the elderly person in your living room. That memory is a long time ago but I do remember she was nice to them. I have many good memories of your family. She will be missed I am sure. Maybe her and Mom will meet again:)

Our sympathies go out to your family. We have many fond memories of years ago when our family belonged to the V.F.W.3949. I remember June as a lively person, one who enjoyed every minute.
