Condolences
Hi Dad,
I just wanted to let you know that I miss you so much. I am forever grateful for the advice you gave to me years ago, the night we stood outside and talked about Caitlyn. I know I screwed up big time dad, and I carry that guilt with me every day. Every time I talk to Caity I apologize for what I have done. She forgives me, and we have become family again. I regret that I couldn't say all this to you when you and mom were alive. I miss you both so much, but I know that it was God's time for you both. You have family and friends that have joined you. Please don't give my hubby, Rick too hard of a time. I love you dad. Always.
Sorry of the lose of Jerry, He had a special smile and laugh, I worked in the uniform shop at UIHC and he often would stop in to visit or on bissiness. Blessing to his family
Jerry was a great friend. He had a great smile and a laugh that would tickle your insides. He and Rose treated me like family and we enjoyed talking and shooting the bull. Jerry was my bodyguard when I got married and he was very protective to make sure people wouldn't find out where we stayed that night. Treasure your memories of him and keep Jerry and Rose in your thoughts. You can almost imagine they are driving around now in heaven together.
Beard Family,
I am so sorry for your loss My thoughts and prayers are with you in this difficult time
So sorry to hear of your loss. My son and I only knew Jerry a short time. He was so good to visit with us when my son and I went to visit my mother. We had many good visits with him. He could always get my mother to laugh. A great guy!!
Jeff and Jeanine,
Jeff and Jeanine,
I'm so sorry to hear of your dad's passing. I miss your mom and dad both very much. I always enjoyed my visits to their house; and now, of course, know I didn't visit them often enough. Your dad always met me at the door and told me, "We don't want any." Then he'd laugh and let me in. You and your families are all in my thoughts and prayers. God bless you.
My deepest sympathy to the whole family. I have lots of memories of Jerry and Jim growing up. We spent many of hours at the Odd Fellow Hall in Iowa City. You are in our prayers and thoughs.
I will never forget Gerri's enormous smile and infectious laugh. In the two years I knew him I have never been so astounded by another human being. I will miss him an amount I can't even begin to explain. I will always live by the morals and values Gerri believed in, family, love and respect. Rip :)
It was always a great time bowling with Jerry. Jerry will be deeply missed by many. You will be in my prayers. God Bless You All.
Jeff, Jeannie, and families,
My thoughts and prayer go out to you as I read about your Dad's passing. He and your Mom were truely wonderful people and your Dad will be sorely missed. I have many many good memories of times past.
