Your parents meant a great deal to the University, the State of Iowa,and Iowa City. I was hired at the Business School in 1968 and enjoyed seeing and chatting with your Mother in the Hy-Vee the last several years. Our best to all of you.
Cindy, Kay & Tracy----I have had Jo on my mind the last few weeks and had even tried searching the internet to try and find her. We adopted your Mom & Dad as our own when we adopted Bub Hefton and missed all of you after his passing. I am so sorry for your loss and know that your family is in our prayers during this time.

Kay, Cindy and Tracy....I was so shocked to look at the paper today and see where your mother past away. Gosh...it has been probably 20 years since I've seen her at least, and it's very hard for me to imagine her being 87. My heart goes out to you all. I always enjoyed seeing your Mom and Dad when they came to visit, and we also exchanged Christmas cards for several years as well...... My Best to all of you.....Sandy
