Condolences
Sorry about your mother.
She was a very kind person and she will be miss greatly.
Dear Tom, Mary and family,
Your mom was a beautiful, kind and caring lady. I loved when she would come into Hair by Stewarts to get her hair styled or colored that beautiful copper color. She always had funny stories to tell and was always telling you, Mary, to not buy so many things and save your money:).
Tom, your mom loved talking about Mikayla and claire! Her face would light up when I would ask about them. The stories usually started with, I visited Tommy today.......Always Tommy:)
Mary- Your mother was a special person. My thoughts are with you during this difficult time. Sara
My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family. May the memories of Aunt Evie remain strong and help you heal during this process. I am sorry that I will not be able to come to the visitation tonight but please know that I am thinking about all of you.
Mary---you look so much like your Mom. It's easy to see where you get your love of animals. Take care--you family is in my thoughts. Mary G.

Jeff and I were very sorry to hear that Evie passed. You will be in our thoughts and prayers.
I am so sorry to hear of Evie's passing. Evie and I had gone to high school together then met years later at the Nazarene Church where we both attended. Evie and I worked together preparing and serving Sunday meals. She was so enjoyable to work with and her sweet spirit was so uplifting. Her life was an inspiration to so many.
To the family of Evelyn you have our deepest sympathies. Evelyn was married to my Uncle Bennie and she was always so kind to everyone she knew. After my Mom passed away Evelyn always called my Dad to check up on him and chat with him. She will be missed.
Dear Mary and Tom,
I wish to extend my deepest condolences for your loss. Evie was truly one of the most special people I've ever known. My memories of her visits to Miami and Chicago are treasures. Her love of animals (which I know you share Mary), her soft spoken ways, her humor, and her incredible kindness and sweetness are just a few of the traits I so loved about Evie. The generosity of her soul and spirit will forever be remembered. When she would visit, she looked at everything with awe and appreciation. I will never forget the first day at Miami Beach. She just stared at the ocean with the most sweet and peaceful smile. I pray you both find some comfort in knowing how many lives your mom touched and that she was loved by so many. Though I lost touch with Evie in the past couple of years a week didn't go by that I didn't think of her and always with a smile. I miss her. God Bless you both. She loved you both so much.
Love, Terri Chicca
Tom and Family You have my family's deepest heart felt sympathy.
Our thoughts and prayers are with our family during this tough time. Evie blessed everyone with her presence and she will be greatly missed.
Larry and Kathy,
So sorry to hear of your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
Kathy
I have not see Evelyn in several years. She was a customer at a store I used to work at. I always enjoyed Bennie and Evelyn when they came in, never a kinder soul than Evelyn. The world is minus a lovely human being.
It has been many years since I have seen Evelyn but all my past memories are fond ones of her.

Mom and I are so sad to hear of Evie's passing. She was the sweetest lady around. She always had a smile on her face no matter what.
Whenever I drive in the G St and F St neighbohood I always think of the Hedges and Elliott families and the good times.
You will always be in our thoughts and prayers.
Evelyn , was a very giving lady she would help everyone she could with everything she had and do it joyfully , It is too bad she left us so soon .
