Eileen F. Ferrance
1947 - 2011
Condolences
I did not know Mrs. Ferrance, but as part of my current masters program read her booklet "Action Research". I was impressed with it and as I read through it provided clarity and help in my next educational goals. I looked Mrs. Ferrance up online and found out that she has passed away.
Her work is still making a difference in lives of educators, and I am thankful for her booklet and service to others via education.
Cordially,

To Eileen's Family and the Friends she held dear;
It was with sorrow that I learned of Eileen's sickness and death. We were colleagues at the Rhode Island Department of Education where she was held in esteem. She was valued for her commitment to the education of our students and her dedication to her role as an educator. Eileen always got the job done! Thank you for the photo; it is nice to remember her that way.
Mike.
So sorry to hear of your loss.
Please pass along my condolences to your kids.
Dear Michael,
It is with such deep sorrow that I learned of Eileen's passing. Sending my heartfelt prayers and thoughts to you, your children, and grandchildren during this most difficult time. She was always ready with a smile, and I looked forward to our chats about our children and grandchildren. Her artistic creations were always admired and envied, and I shall always treasure the beautiful glass butterfly magnet. Rest now with the Angels, dear Eileen.
In prayer and always in my heart,
Gen
Dear Mike, Sue and David,
Dear Michael, Mr. Wyss, and Family,
I had the pleasure to work with Eileen during her time with The Education Alliance. Eileen was a dedicated, hard working and ethical colleague who had the respect of her peers. I also had the opportunity to have many discussions with Eileen about her interest in glass and jewelry. Her talent and passion for this work was obvious and I consider myself lucky to have a piece of hers gracing my home.
I taught several years with Eileen at West Warwick High School and Deering Middle School. She was a talented educator and a wonderful person. I am so sorry that she has to suffer with this dreadful disease and I am sure she has gone to a better place. She will be missed by many! I send my condolences to her family. Sincerely, Barbara
Dear Michael and Family: I was a guidance counselor at Deering and had the honor and pleasure of working with Eileen when she was a biology teacher there. She was brilliant, inspirational and so wonderful to work with. It was an honor to have known her. My prayers are with all of you.
