Mrs. Walsh and Family,
I was so deeply saddened to learn of Tom's death. I know him from his work at Marcos Cab and Yellow Cab. Tom was a lovely person. As he drove me from place to place, we would chat a bit, and he told me about his family, including the cat and a dearly loved and spoiled ferret who died a while back. I am very sorry to have missed the funeral today. I know from talking with Tom that he loved his wife and family very, very much and that the grandchildren made him very happy. I will remember him fondly as a gentle and kind person who appreciated his life and family. Please accept my deepest condolences and know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.
