Obituary of Kenneth R. Cooper
Mr. Kenneth R. Cooper, born January 27, 1917, passed away Wednesday July 27th of a lingering illness. He was a founding member of St. Andrew Presbyterian Church where he served as an Elder, a member of the choir, and as a Deacon. He was second shift manager at Owens Brush Company, now formally known as Oral B, until his retirement. Kenneth is survived by his wife of 74 years, Grace N. Cooper, sons Kenneth R Cooper Jr. and Frederick L. Cooper of Houston Texas, Michael B. Cooper of Iowa City, Iowa, Grandchildren Camille M. Cooper and Michael B. Cooper II of Iowa City, Iowa, Kenneth R Cooper III of Mobile, Alabama, Kendolyn Grace Cooper, Houston, Texas, Joseph Richmond Cooper, State College, Pennsylvania, and family son Richard S. Harvey, of Jupiter, Florida. “Pete” was known to be a good, loving, righteous man.
Services will be held at Memory Gardens Mausoleum at 2:00 pm Wednesday August 3, 2011.
