My mother, Mary Francis Howell, was a dear friend who lived on a farm just east of the Williams farm on Indian Lookout Hill. They both attended a one room schoolhouse near their farms.

My mother lived most of her life near her parents in later years in Marion Iowa and would visit June from time to time in Iowa City.I spent several happy summers at the Williams farm learning to drive on a tractor helping her father Everett. They were wonderful people and I have fond memories of them.

June was a very soft spoken, radiant smiling, beautiful woman. She was always eager to engage in conversation on the more reserved side. She loved her husband, she loved you boys...and the families you brought into the world.

City High will always hold Bob and June to the highest in being the most honored couple ever coming out of the doors in turn, City High meant so much to them.

Thank you for always sharing your Mom and Dad with the rest of us.

June will be missed...I am sure Bob patiently waited to be reunited with June forever after.

I would like to extend my sympathy to the family of June White.

We have many kind memories of June and visiting the White home, also of when our paths occasionally crossed at City High or elsewhere. June had ties to the Louis' and sometimes when passing thru my father's camera store for film, and we could talk her into having a cup of coffee with us, she would tell me anecdotes about our families histories which were always fun to hear.

Deepest Sympathies to the White and Williams Families. Bob and June were a wonderful example of a loving couple, dedicated to their family and community. June and Bob are now reunited for eternity.

The Dane and Williams/White families go back many years as friends and neighbors. Our history is tied together forever.

You more than likely don't remember me but besides being a student at city high I was asked by your dad to baby sit with you three boys when I was in high school and you were all young. Your mom and dad were very nice to me and you boys never caused me any problems when I baby sat with you. I always think of your parents and you boys when I'm over around Montrose Street.
