I would like to take this opportunity to offer my sincere condolences on the very premature passing of Richard. Dick and I were, at one time, extremely close friends. We were in the same high school class and had a number of adventures together as young men. I sold him my beloved '55 Chevy and he routinely toyed with me whenever I was foolish enough to take him on in tennis. He and I found our fair share of trouble back in the late 60's, but I could never want for a better friend. As the years passed, as things so often happen, our lives drifted apart. But I still look back on our friendship and time together fondly and his passing greatly saddens me. My thoughts are with his family during this sad period.
