Alice Louise Edwards
1919 - 2011
Condolences
I would like to pass my condolences to Joan, Connie and Richard. Alice was very helpful with pictures, stories and information on the Edwards family to me. She helped me with my family history/genealogy hobby for many years. Sorry for the lateness, but I just received the funeral brochure from Cousin Cathy. My father just died last November, and there are many life adjustments that have to be done, upon a death. Take care of yourselves, and maybe I will see you at the Edwards reunion in June.
Alice was one of my very favorite neighbors. Her sense of humor and her kindness will be with me forever. I will especially miss her at Senior Lunch.
We are sorry for your loss. May the wonderful memories you have bring you some comfort and peace. God Bless her and her family and friends.
Joan, Keith and I were touched by Alice's kindness, charm and beauty and we sincerely send our condolences to you, Dad and your entire family. I'm so glad you created opportunities for us to visit with her when we would go out for breakfast and lunches during our trips to Oxford. She was so interesting to talk to and it always amazed me how much that little lady could eat! You and your sister took such good care of her, what a wonderful example of love you both lived.
Joan, our prayers are with you in your time of sorrow. Your Mother was a great lady and her memories will always be with you. Take care. Love, Jeff, Lori & Family.

To Joan, Connie, and Dick - My sympathy to you and your families in the loss of your mother. She was a wonderful lady. I always enjoyed seeing her when I returned to Oxford for visits. And she always reminded me of how much she loved, and missed, my mother Bonnie. I'm sure there is rejoicing in heaven this week as two old friends are re-united.
Blessed be her memory.
Your family is in our thoughts and prayers. As much as you miss your Mother, she will always be with you in spirit.
Joan, Connie and Dick: Alice was a great lady and a fine example of how good people should live. She was loved by all who knew her. We send our deepest sympathy. Dave and Marlene

I and my family are sorry to hear about your mother, what a nice lady to be around, and to have as a good neighbor growing up. I think about Courtney and I when we were little going down to the beauty shop to see grandma as Courtney allways said, and sometime stoping at Joans on the way back home. I'm sure she will be very missed by all. Take care and my god be with you and your family's.
Dear Family and Friends,
To the bereaved family and friends at this most difficult time. May you find comfort in knowing that you're not alone in this time of sorrow and that the grief you feel now will ease with the passage of time. Also you can have confidence in the strength that God supplies by prayerfully relying on him because he cares about you. In his own due time, he will bring a end to all causes of death, then as stated at Revelation 21:4 "death will be no more."
