Obituary of Nancy DeLung

Nancy Charlene DeLung, 66 of North Liberty, died Monday, February 7, 2011, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. Nancy was born January 30, 1945, in Iowa City, the daughter of Charles and Thelma (Popham) DeLung. She graduated with the City High School class of 1963 and then attended the Career Academy in Milwaukee, WI. She worked in the health profession for many years in the area. Nancy will be remembered for her love of animals, her wit and candid sense of humor, riding her motorcycle, watching old movies, and just sharing time with good friends and family. Her family includes a sister-in-law, Barbara DeLung of Albany, GA; 2 nieces, Debbie (Mark) Reinertson and Teri (Jeff) Mouser; great-niece, Willow Mouser; cousin, Linda Popham Vikel of Iowa City. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, William L. DeLung. Memorial services are will be held at a later date.
