Condolences
I just read that Jerry has passed away. I went to Central Jr High and City High with Jerry.
Jerry was a very kind person and friendly person. I had Jerry in alot of my classes and we had alot of fun.
May the wonderful memories of Jerry help you through the diffilcult days ahead. Sandy Heisdorrfer
To Jerry's family, I went to school with Jerry and remember him as a kind and gentle soul. He was blessed to have such a loving family to care for him.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Jerry's passing. I worked with him for many years as his Goodwill vocational counselor. He was highly regarded as a dedicated and hard-working employee. I hope his family can find comfort in knowing that Jerry had many friends at Goodwill.
The Shook, Bymer and Moyers families have been friends forever. We still remember all the Thanksgiving dinners held in both Iowa City and Panora. No matter the weather dinner was held. Still remember the Iowa city farm. After dinner--- cards, monopoly and good fun was had by all. As we kids got older 'politics' was discussed. Jerry and I usually didn't agree, but when we did I always took the other view so the discussion would go on. Jerry had a big heart and his own sense of humor! He will be missed, but not forgotten by all that knew him. Darrell Shook
You all have our deepest sympathy this was a great shock. Jerry was a great person who always could make you laugh. He had a great sense of humor and very gentle ways. He will be missed by everyone who knew him. He will forever be remembered.
