Dale and Family,

Please accept my deepest sympathies on the loss of your wife. I am sure your faith, family, and friends will carry you through this difficult time. As you may know, I lost Wayne six months ago, on June 30. It has been a struggle, but I just put one foot ahead of the other. We treasure all our wonderful memories. God bless you and your family!

We were so sorry to hear of Helen's passing. Please accept our sincere condolences for your loss.

My mother was a coworker of Dale Shires and became friends with Shires, I have the fondest memories of going to the home as a child and feeling such love and laughter throughout the home. I believe they lived on Friendship Street and I remember the laughter and joy that Dale and Helen showed in their everyday life, their commitment to their children and their dreams. What dynamic loving people. Helen was such a warm and kind soul, I truly remember how her love touched my life. Over the years I have reflected that their example was a testimony to being a Christian and also how to show love within a family.
