I knew Kenny at ICHS in the 1940s.

I lived at 712 Kimble Ave.

Dad, Leon, was a painter and worked from Gilpin's for some time. Mom, Berniece, worked at the UIHCLS at Central Tray (instruments)

I quit HS and joined the Navy in 1947-1971 and retired as LCDR.

Weare very sorry to hear of Kenneth's passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.

Uncle Kenny was a great and very giving Uncle. I always appreciated his

pet name for me during Thanksgiving Days when he could make it over to the

Teggatz household. I believe it was Mutley he called me. Many great memories

to fall back on. God bless to his family and friends with his passing.

My earlies recollection of Kenny was during the 1950's, when he would play guitar in jam sessions at our house or at BK Mercer's farm. I remember watching him race his full dress Harley on a dirt track. I don't recall where the nearby track was located. I worked for Kenny for 4 years (1965 - 1969) when he managed St Joseph Cemetery. He taught me proper work ethics and created an enjoyable first job for me. It was a good learning experience. I also loved to listen to all of the past stories of his childhood, Army and job related events that were always humorous. I also admired his commitment to raising his daughters after his divorce. He was a rare person that won't be forgotten. My condolences and prayers go out to his family.
