Obituary of Julie N. Noble

Julie Norinne Noble slipped away and was welcomed into the Kingdom of Heaven to be with her dad on December 23, 2008. Her mother was by her side when she passed away. She was born September 9, 1961, in Iowa City, Iowa to Dr. Dudley and Norinne (Fenner) Noble. Throughout her early years she excelled in swimming, dance and singing. She sang in the St. Andrews Presbyterian choir in High School. Julie graduated from West High School in 1979 and was Homecoming Queen. She was crowned Miss Iowa National Teenager in 1979 and was runner-up Miss Iowa in 1980. She continued her studies at Iowa State University where she was a cheerleader and a member of Chi Omega Sorority and later at the University of Iowa. She was a professional model and did commercials in Los Angeles and was in 2 movies. She was also an aerobics instructor. In the later years of her life she cared for her mother at their home. She loved and cared for the birds and animals which visited her daily and always had a soft heart for homeless animals. She will be greatly missed by her mother, family, and friends. The family wishes to express their thanks to all the doctors and nurses who helped Julie in her struggle. Her family inlcudes her mother Norinne (Fenner) Noble of Iowa City; brothers, Dave & wife Leslie Noble of Rockwall, Texas and Dr. Jeff & Susan (Anderson) Noble of Akron, Ohio as well as nephews Chad, John, Nick, Daniel, Matthew, and niece Sarah, and Aunt Jeanette & Dr. George Conger of Akron, Ohio and cousins Ann, Susan, Jan, and Nancy. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 3, 2008, at Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service, where visitation will be from 5 to 7pm Friday evening. Burial will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Iowa City. Visitation will be from (time) Friday at the funeral home.
