Obituary of Wendy Peck

Wendy Peck, 44, of rural Lone Tree died at her home Friday, February 1, 2008. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 9, 2008, at Oakland Cemetery in Iowa City. Visitation will be from 4-8pm Friday, February 8, 2008 at Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service in Iowa City. A memorial has been established in Wendy’s name. Online condolences may be sent for her family through the web @ www.gayandciha.com. Wendy Peck was born July 22, 1963, in Iowa City the daughter of Henry J. and Carol Ann (Thoma) Klosterman. She graduated from West High High School in 1980, and was a former manager at Payless Shoe Store in Iowa City. She enjoyed antiques, loved animals, skiing, and boating; but most important in her life were the lives of her two children, Andy and Stacy. She was very suportative of their school events, always on the sidelines of the activities. Her family includes two children, Andrew Peck of Iowa City and Stacie Peck of Lone Tree; parents, Henry Klosterman of Iowa City and Carol Zabel of Chandler, Arizona; brother, Jay Klosterman and his wife, Julie of Scottsdale, Arizona; half-sister, Sadie M. Dreher Landwier of Des Moines; former husband, Rick Peck of Lone Tree; and three nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Robin Ann. Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service of Iowa City is in charge of Wendy’s family and her arrangements.
