Obituary of Josephine Neuzil

Josephine Catherine Neuzil, 67, formerly of Iowa City, Iowa died on March 10, 2007, in Las Vegas, Nevada, following a brief illness. Graveside memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 9th. in the Old Section of St. Joseph Cemetery in Iowa City. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society of Johnson County, Iowa. Online condolences may be sent for her family through the web @ www.gayandciha.com. Josephine was born on February 5, 1940, the daughter of Fred Neuzil and Agnes Stebral Neuzil and grew up on the family farm west of Iowa City. She attended area schools and for a time owned and operated a restaurant in Oxford, Iowa. Josephine is survived by her sisters, Marie Wasson of Wellman, Iowa, and Darlene VanKirk of Marshalltown, Iowa, and her brother, Ralph Neuzil of Iowa City, Iowa. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Sylvester Neuzil, and a sister, Mildred Sovers.
