Obituary of Robert C. Langdon

Robert Charles Langdon, age 76 of 1303 Ash Street, Iowa City, died Monday, May 22, 2006, at the Iowa City Health Care and Rehab. Center. Following a brief illness. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, May 25, 2006, at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Iowa City with the Reverend Michael Phillips officiating. Burial with Military Honors will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be after 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the church. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in his memory. Robert was born March 7, 1930 in Lincoln, NE, the son of Charles and Frances Prohaska Langdon. His family moved to Iowa City where he graduated from Iowa City City High School. Following graduation he enlisted in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. For many years he worked in food service at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. He has no immediate family members, just a host of good friends.
