Obituary of Keith Volner

Keith D. Volner, age 47 of Mt. Pleasant died Tuesday, February 21, 2006, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. Cremation services were provided by Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service of Iowa City; no other services are planned at this time. Keith DeWayne Volner was born January 31, 1959, in Redbud, Illinois, the son of James and Betty (Dueker) Volner. He married Gale Lynn Braun. Keith has worked construction work in this area for some time. His family includes his wife, Gale; sons, Brock D. Volner, Brian Volner and his fiancée, Katrina Sterns; and Dillon Volner all of Mt. Pleasant; daughter, Samantha Volner and her fiancé, Andy of Mt. Pleasant; grandson, Aiden Volner; father and his wife, James and Kathy Volner of Hillsboro, IA; mother and her husband, Betty and Bob Martinez of Labadie, MO; brothers, Kevin Volner and his wife, Shelly of Waterloo, IL, and James Volner and his wife, Debra of Mt. Pleasant; sister, Lisa Skiles and her husband, Bill of Dudley, MO; and numerous nieces and nephews.
