Samuel Ryan Olson Born July13, 2008. Died July 13, 2008. Mercy Medical Center in Iowa City. Although his heart stopped beating, he brought his family so much love and we will always hold him in our hearts. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2008 at 3:00, at Gay and Ciha Funeral Home in Iowa City. All family and friends are welcome. He is preceded in death by Great Grandparents Carl Lengemann of Coon Rapids, George DuBois of Ankeny, Lynn and Wilma Olson of Coon Rapids and Clifford and Ruth Anderson of Ackley. He is survived by his parents Ryan Lowell and Jennifer Jean Olson and his brother Henry Carl Olson of Iowa City, Grandparents Paul and Sherry Anderson of Ankeny, Robb and Diane Olson of Columbus Junction; Aunts Stacy Anderson of Boston, Rachel Rees of Columbus Junction, Renae and Zach Evans of Parnell, cousins Erik and Evan Rees of Columbus Junction and Lena Mae Evans of Parnell, Great Grandmothers Alice Lengemann of Coon Rapids and Jean DuBois of Ankeny and Great-Great grandmother Lena Beyerink of Coon Rapids. Gifts and flowers are greatly appreciated but the family asks for help in creating a memorial for Samuel sending donations to the “Samuel Ryan Olson Memorial Fund” at any Iowa State Bank and Trust location, “attention Claire”, or directly to the Olson family.
