Obituary of Lillian E. Furgason
Lillian E. Furgason, 78 of rural Oxford died at the home of her daughter, near Oxford surrounded by her loving family, Saturday, May 24, 2008. Family services will be held at a later date. Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service of Oxford and Iowa City is caring for Lillians family and her arrangements. A memorial fund has been established in her memory, and online condolences may be sent for her family through the web @ www.gayandciha.com. Lillian Eleanor Perrin was born January 19, 1930, in Washington County, Iowa the daughter of Harley and Ida Bender Perrin. She has spent most of her life caring for those dear to her, Lillians family. There was nothing in this world more important than her family, from the birth of her first child, to her great-great grandchildren who carry on the family. She had so much love, enough for each and every one of them! This was her life, and she loved them all with all of her heart and soul. Her family includes her children, Brenda Crow (Steve) of Marengo, Richard Furgason (Linda) of Moberly, MO, Debbie Solinger (Bob) of Bentonville, AR, Peggy Price of Moberly, MO, Kathy Furgason of Coralville, Becky Eister (Terry) Oxford, and Cindy Furgason of North Liberty; 14 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren; and 2 sisters, Peggy Foraker of Morrison, CO, and Hilda Schwab of Brownwood, TX. Lillian was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Calvin and Richard Perrin; and sister, Beatrice Yoder. As well as a great great granddaughter Jami Lynn Reed.
