Obituary of Chad Thomas Dickkut

Chad Dickkut, 37, of Iowa City died Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at his home as a result of a fall. Private family services will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2008, in Lake City, Iowa through the Lampe Funeral Home. Online condolences may be sent for his family through the web @www.gayandciha.com. Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service of Iowa City assisted the family locally. Chad Thomas Dickkut was born February 22, 1971 in Iowa City to Bob and Carol (Johnson) Dickkut. He graduated from Southern Cal High School with the class of 1989. He enjoyed cooking in the Iowa City/Cedar Rapids area since 1991, and for the past 7 years he worked as a cook for the Brown Bottle in Iowa City. Chad is survived by his daughters, Hayley Hubbell and Courtney Hubbell of Dubuque, parents, Bob and Carol Dickkut of Lake City, sister, Brooke (Leon) Johnson of Des Moines, grandmother, Maxyne Johnson of Lake City, uncle and aunt, Carl and Carolyn Johnson of Lake City and cousins, Chris, Cara and Cyle. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Harold L. (Bud) Johnson, and grandparents, Bud and Marj Dickkut.
