Obituary of Rita M. Broyles

Rita M. Broyles, 38 of Vinton, Iowa formerly of Iowa City died Monday, April 30, 2007, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, May 3, 2007, at Oakland Cemetery in Iowa City. There will be a gathering time for family and friends from 1pm until the services on Thursday at Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service in Iowa City. Memorial donations can be made in Rita's memory to REM Iowa Community Services in Vinton. Online condolences may be sent for Rita through the web @www.gayandciha.com. Rita was born October 23, 1968, in Iowa City. She was with Systems Unlimited in Iowa City for many years. Here she graduated from Iowa City West High School in 1990. In February of 2000 she moved to Vinton, Iowa where she was with Systems until June of 2001, at which time she became involved with REM Iowa Community Services in Vinton, where she worked in Developmental Services. She has also worked in REM in Conroy, Iowa and Adults Inc. in Vinton. Her family and friends remember Rita's love for listening to music, and also talking to her mother on the phone. Her family includes her mother, Corky Broyles of Grinnell; and a host of friends throughout her lifetime.
