Condolences
Lee and family sorry for your loss! You are all in our prayers! Keep all the good memories in your hearts forever! God Bless
Rozella was my first cousin's daughter! I didn't know Rozella well as I hadn't seen her since she was a very young child, but I want her family to know that they have my deepest sympathy & condolences. By reading her obituary it sounds like she was a very active lady and will be missed by many!! My prayers go out to Rozella's family! May God help each of you through this very sad loss of a wonderful person!!
Sorry to hear of your loss lee and family. I enjoyed talking and seeing you all down at the Legion on breakfast sundays. Rest in peace Rozie
Sorry to hear about Rosie. She was quite the person. I got to know her a little better during her treatments which we had at the same time. Prayers to Lee and family.

Lee and Grabin family,
I was shocked to read this today in the paper.
No words can take away the hurt you feel today and the time to come.
Keep family close as I know they will.

Jerry and I didn't know Rose and Lee very long, but they were very easy to talk to. While my husband was receiving his cancer treatments we got to know them, not a good place to meet, but the comfort of conversation with Rose and Lee left us feeling like we had known them all our lives. Jerry had also known Lee's parents so he had good talks about them and the farm. We are so sorry for the loss of your loved one Lee, may Rose rest in peace and be free of all pain after her courageous battle, such a strong lady. Thoughts to you and the family, Jerry and Sharon Elder.
Worked with Rose for 31 years,Keeping her Street Sweeper going during Sweeping season and Her Snow Plow Truck during Snow season,Spent many Winter Hours keeping Iowa City Streets,Clean and Clear
Worked with Rose for several years, she was tough woman with a kind heart, she was also an animal lover like me ,especially cats and was a huge help to saving the lives of hundreds of them .Glad she got to enjoy a little retirement before she left us way too soon.
Lee & Jeri and family my deepest sympathy for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Rose had a love for an online game called Township. This is how we virtually met 2 + years ago. She loved to play the game and she was invited to our coop. She became a part of our family so easily. We would always chat about strategy, her life on the farm, her rescue cats & all her donations she would go pick up. We also shared a love for our favorite show "Outlander". When she told me about her diagnosis in May, it hit me hard. Even though we never met in person she was a part of our Alliance family and we all loved her. She may have thought she was not courageous with her battle. But her determination to do whatever it took to give her one more day with her family reaps in courage and I so admired her strength. I really wished I could have met you in person. Our Alliance family lost a team mate & amazing friend but you will never been forgotten. We were so blessed to have known you & will be deeply missed. Rest in peace my dear friend!
Dear Lee and families, I am so sorry for your loss. I didn't know Roze very many yrs but you didn't have to as she just grew on you! She was so sweet, caring, always so considerate of others and their feelings and always ready to jump in when help was needed! I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers! God bless you. Love. Dear Lee and family, I am so sorry for your loss. I didn’t get to spend a lot of time with Rose but what time I did, I will cherish. She was a very kind, loving and a women who spoke her mind which I loved about her. My deepest sympathy. Gail
I've worked with Rose over the years at the City and she was a modern John Wayne, full of true grit and wisdom. I don't think she ever met a cat she couldn't help and was a kind heart to everyone. I was lucky to know her spirit and strength over the years and will remember her as a true leader.
Dear Lee, God has taken the only true angel that we have ever known to be with him in his kingdom along with MerLynn and Joyce, with the rest of us to follow eventually. Words cannot express the sorrow we feel or the joys we have experienced over the many years just being able to count RoZe as one of our friends. Her kind heart and cheery disposition drew us near to her and we will be forever thankful to God for giving us the time we had with her. Denise and I, along with our many four legged children, will miss her and will never forget her.
