Condolences
I wish to express my deepest sympathy to Daryl and family. Carol was a very nice and kind person. I enjoyed getting to know her through the Oxford Legion Auxiliary.

We will dearly miss Aunt Carol Ann who was fun, loving and always cheerful. She taught us how to put up food, cook things, raise animals and enjoy life. N
It is hard to put into words about the great loss of our cherished and dear aunt Carol. She and uncle Darrel had taken me and my brother Steve into their home to help raise a couple of young boys when we needed them the most. Carol and Darrel was young themselves as they where only in there twenties when they took on the task of helping raising her oldest brother Keith's two young boys. She made sure we all made it though some rough times and our first years of grade school at Tiffin, IA. Carol help formed a couple of young boys and we can never think her enough. Aunt Carol was that rock that was always there to pick you up and she would never let you get down. I have a lot of fond memories of growing up on the farm, planting and rising a garden, and feeding the sheep, chickens and the cows. I will always remember aunt Carol seating at the kitchen table in the mornings while reading the newspaper and listing to the farm AG report and Paul Harvey on the radio. I can still hear ole Mr. Harvey end his comments by saying "Good Day". It was always a good day our aunt Carol's house as she shielded us but she always told you the truth gave you hope. I remember going to a local general store and buying a winter coat, a pair of boots and my first hot wheel car over in North Liberty, IA. I am so thankful that we got to tell our aunt Carol a big "THANK YOU" for what she has done for us on the last time we got to visit with her. I know that our wonderful aunt Carol had a whole lot family and people waiting for her at the gates of heaven to show her the way and take care of her. I take comfort that we will all get to see her again someday. Carol would want us all to celebrate her life on earth as they are in heaven. I will always remember our aunt Carols unique laughter and cherish all of the great memories.
I was saddened to hear of Carol's passing. I so enjoyed our times together in the North Liberty American Legion Auxiliary. She will be missed.
My personal condolences to the Family. Nice lady, friend to all....
GOD must have needed a great lady..

Daryl and family So sorry to hear of Carol's passing. I know it is never easy to lose a loved one, but with all the memories hopefully they will help to comfort. My Mom-Louise surely felt lucky to have her dear Sheltie from you. Beaumont was his name and he outlived Mom and helped comfort Grandma Carrie, my sister Laurie and myself when Mom's time came. Take care and know I'll be thinking of and praying for you and yours.4bGGT
