Condolences
Just heard the news! So sorry for your loss. My thoughts are with you. -Tami
To the Eckhoff Family.
So very sorry to hear about the passing of Jean. I boarded my horse at their farm and always enjoyed riding there and on the adjacent land. Jean was always so kind and did a work shop on how to groom and saddle a horse for one of my daughter's girl scout troop. It was one of the best meetings for the girls who all lived in Coralville. I saw Jean at UIHC the week before and enjoyed talking with her. You are in my prayers.
Sincerely,
Cheryl
I was too young to remember Reggie and Jean, but both my (older) sisters (Susan Kennedy Elkin, Jean Kennedy(d)) rode horses at Eckhoff's place out 12th Ave, north of Coralville. There used to be several farms out that way (Ambroses', Mr. Cole's, Mr. Freswick's) but the Eckhoff horse farm always looked so neat and tidy with its red barn with white trim. While my oldest sister is a few years younger than Jean, I'm sure they rode horses together through the years.
On behalf of my sister, Susan, and myself, please accept our condolences on the passing of Jean.
